Organizational Development (OD)
Special Interest Group (SIG)

Organizational Development (OD) is the study and implementation of organizational change processes. Join two leaders in the OD field for this Special Interest Group (SIG) discussion on OD related topics. Each bi-monthly meeting will have a specialized topic for discussion, workshop, or guest speaker. This month the conversation will be focused on "Shaping Organizational Change: How Learning & Development Drives Lasting Success."

Organizational change is inevitable, but success depends on how well people adapt, learn, and grow through the process. Learning & Development professionals play a critical role in ensuring that change is not just implemented, but sustained. In this session, we’ll explore how L&D practitioners can position themselves as strategic partners in driving effective transformation.

  • Explore Models of Organizational Change – Gain insights into proven frameworks and methodologies that guide successful transformation efforts.
  • Discover Key Practitioner Specialties – Understand how different Learning & Development roles contribute to change initiatives, from facilitation and coaching to instructional design and talent development.
  • Key Organizational Development Interventions in Action – Learn about impactful OD strategies, from culture shifts to leadership development, and how L&D professionals can align their expertise to support lasting impact.
  • Finding Your Place in Change – Identify where Learning & Development fits in the broader change process and how to position yourself as a strategic partner in driving success.
